Fishing consulting Trip
Fishfinder Consulting is built for anglers who want to spend less time guessing & more time catching
Service Description
Why Book Fishfinder Consulting Fishfinder Consulting is built for anglers who want to spend less time guessing and more time catching. Whether you are planning your first serious offshore trip, looking to improve your bottom-fishing results, or trying to unlock productive Gulf wrecks, ledges, and hard-bottom areas, you get practical guidance from someone who fishes these waters firsthand. I bring real offshore experience, a strong understanding of tackle, rigging, bait presentation, boat preparation, and the conditions that influence a productive day on the water. My approach is straightforward: help you make better decisions before leaving the dock, fish more efficiently once you arrive, and return with knowledge you can use on every future trip. Every consultation is tailored to your boat, equipment, experience level, target species, and the type of trip you want to run. I can help you evaluate your offshore setup, choose effective rods, reels, line, terminal tackle, and rigs, improve anchoring and positioning, prepare for bottom fishing, and develop a more confident plan for fishing structure in the Gulf. Fishfinder Consulting is not about generic fishing advice pulled from the internet. It is about sharing the details that often make the difference—how to approach a spot, stay on the bite, present baits naturally, avoid common equipment mistakes, and adapt when the fish or conditions are not cooperating. Clients book with me because they want honest, experience-based advice without the wasted fuel, trial-and-error, and frustration that often comes with learning offshore fishing alone. My goal is to shorten your learning curve, help protect your investment in your boat and gear, and give you a clearer path toward safer, more productive, and more enjoyable days offshore. If you are serious about becoming a better Gulf angler, Fishfinder Consulting gives you the knowledge, preparation, and confidence to fish smarter from the very first trip.
Cancellation Policy
Booking, Deposit, Cancellation & Payment Policy A deposit is required to reserve your fishing-consulting trip date and time. All deposits are non-refundable and secure your selected date on the live calendar. The remaining trip balance must be paid in full before leaving the dock. If full payment is not received before departure, the trip may be canceled and the deposit will be forfeited. Credit card information will be securely stored incase any cancelations occur and deposit will then be forfeited. If the client cancels for any reason, the deposit remains non-refundable. Rescheduling requests may be accommodated when possible but are not guaranteed and depend on availability on the live calendar. If weather, unsafe sea conditions, or another circumstance outside of our control requires us to reschedule the trip, we will contact the client as soon as possible. All deposits and payments made will be applied to a rescheduled date, and we will work with the client to select the earliest mutually available date. Because consulting trips take place on the client’s vessel, the client is responsible for ensuring that their boat is safe, seaworthy, fueled, properly equipped, and ready to depart at the scheduled time. If a trip is canceled, delayed, or cannot depart due to a client vessel issue—including mechanical problems, safety concerns, insufficient fuel, missing required safety equipment, or any other boat-related reason—the deposit will be forfeited. Rescheduling in these situations is not guaranteed and is subject to calendar availability. By booking a trip and submitting a deposit, the client confirms that they have read, understand, and agree to this Booking, Deposit, Cancellation, and Payment Policy.
